What is meditation?
Meditation is a process by which we go beyond the mind – beyond thoughts,
sensations, and feelings - and contact that part of us that experiences all of these.
That part of us that experiences thoughts, sensations, and feelings are also the source
of our thoughts, the source of our creativity, and the source of love and joy. We call this
part of ourselves “consciousness”.
Therefore, meditation is a process by which we contact consciousness itself
Contacting consciousness itself does two essential things:
1. It purifies out old stresses and impressions that have gone deep into the
subconscious mind that prevent us from living our full potential
2. It infuses more wakefulness, more awareness, more peace, and bliss
into our life
