February Yoga: The Secrets of The Scapula
Often overlooked, the scapulae—our shoulder blades—play a vital role in posture, breath, and effortless upper-body movement. This month’s focus explores how these remarkable bones are designed to glide, rotate, strengthen, and support the shoulders without strain. Through mindful, intelligent movement, we’ll improve shoulder mobility, reduce neck and upper-back tension, and create a sense of lightness and stability through the upper body. When the scapulae move well, everything above and below them benefits—from freer breathing to stronger, more comfortable movement in daily life.
